Rihanna shoots video in Jamaica

Bajan pop princess Rihanna was in Jamaica last weekend to shoot a video for her next single, Man Down, from her chart-topping album Loud.

The video, which was being directed by Anthony Mandler, drew several onlookers in the northeast parish of Portland on Saturday.

In one of the scenes, Rihanna, who sported a long red mane all the way down her back, was seen riding a bicycle.

While on the video set Rihanna tweeted, "Welcome to Jamrock #projectmandown."

The single was co-written by fellow Barbadian singer Shontelle who is best known for her singles T Shirt and Impossible.

Meanwhile, in April of this year, the 23-year-old superstar became the ninth and youngest artiste to rack up 10 number-one songs.

The achievement also marked the shortest span between a solo artiste's first number-one single to his or her 10th. In 2006, Rihanna had her first number-one single on the chart with SOS.
